Pet Ultrasound

A non-invasive technique to get a better look at the internal organs in the belly is an abdominal ultrasound. While an X-ray would capture a single image of all structures layered on top of one another, ultrasonography enables us to examine the architecture of each organ separately.

The liver, gallbladder, spleen, adrenal glands, pancreas, stomach, intestines, kidneys, bladder, and other organs may all be thoroughly examined with ultrasonography. When a pet is ill, this can assist us in figuring out what may be causing their illness and provide information on whether the issue is inflammatory, infectious, or malignant.

They will lie on their back in a cozy foam trough for the ultrasound itself. Although some of our more anxious animals will get a little sedative to assist them relax, the majority of dogs take this procedure admirably.
