Pet Echocardiography

An echocardiogram (or echo) is one of the least intrusive and most efficient techniques to look at the structure of the heart and see how it works in real-time.

Pet Echocardiography

A cardiac ultrasound is known as an echocardiogram (or echo). We’ll probably schedule an echo if your pet has a cardiac murmur.

The heart has four chambers, each of which is separated from the others by a valve. These valves seal at the proper moment to maintain blood flow in the desired direction. By using echocardiography, we may determine whether the heart’s walls are thickened, whether its chambers are enlarged, and whether its valves are in good condition. The blood pressure in the veins leading to and from the heart can also be checked to see if it is normal.
